Tadej Pogacar showcased a climbing masterclass with a stunning solo victory in Stage 19 of the Tour de France on Friday, a challenging 145 km (90.1 miles) route from Embrun to Isola 2000. His explosive attack not only secured the stage win but also brought him closer to clinching the title, as he widened his lead over Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel. Pogacar overtook breakaway leader Matteo Jorgenson in the final 2 km, extending his advantage to over five minutes ahead of Vingegaard and more than seven minutes ahead of Evenepoel with just two stages remaining.
